How it plays
You hold your Evidence facing away from you. Everyone can see your cards; you cannot. On your turn you take one action:
Assist — tell another player one thing about their hand: a number, or an icon. You must name every card that matches. Holmes moves one step closer to solving it first.
Investigate — play a card to a Lead. Matching icon pays the Lead down; a wrong icon makes it dearer.
Eliminate — put a card in the Impossible and advance the Investigation track by its number.
Confirm — close a Lead that is paid off exactly, and push Holmes back a step.
Pursue — bury the current Lead and turn up the next one.
Win by confirming the Suspect, the Motive and the Opportunity with the Investigation track on exactly 20. Lose if Holmes reaches 0, if the track passes 20, if a Lead section runs out, or if you confirm the third Lead early.
